Here's all the "hard-to-make" parts for a home made Dobsonian telescope! "Kit" price offers you significant savings. You get Primary and Secondary Mirrors, Spider and Diagonal Holder, Focuser, Eyepiece, Finder Scope and more! You do the rest...
Coulter Optical® set the standard for high quality, low cost telescope mirrors for 40 years. Our mirrors are made from the highest quality precision annealed optical glass, then expertly hand figured and tested by skilled opticians.
Sure, you can build your own scope... but we can make it a lot easier with our pre-built Telescope Components. Things like 4-vane Spiders and Diagonal Holders, Focusers, Bearings and Mirror Cells. We've got 'em all!
e-Scopes® offers a variety of precision eyepieces including the technically advanced Speers-Waler, Plossl, Ortho, Erfle and economical Plossl. A wide range of focal lengths and designs are available. Package deals, too!
A single Barlow Lens gives you double duty from all your eyepieces, optically halving the focal length of the eyepiece and effectively doubling the power, in the case of a 2X Barlow. We have 2X and powerful 3X Barlows available.
Filters can make for an unforgettable viewing experience. These useful devices can remove street and atmospheric light pollution, add contrast and detail, and reduce eye fatigue. e-Scopes® has them all!
Nothing's as frustrating as trying to find an object through a telescope that isn't equipped with a Finder Scope, or that has a cheap, dime-store finder. e-Scopes® has some of the finest and most versatile Finder Scopes available!
The Telrad is probably the best "Finder" that has ever been invented! It works like this: You look through the Telrad and center a visible object in the concentric bulls-eye. That same object will be centered in the telescope's eyepiece.
Maybe this little adaptor is all it takes! Discover a whole new universe when you get into astro photography. And you can enjoy this exciting activity for a lot less than you think, especially if you already own a 35mm SLR camera!
Useful on Refractors and SCT-type telescopes, these devices divert the output 90 degrees, making the eyepiece much easier to look through. We also have diagonals that will erect the inverted image of a refractor telescope for land use.
EVEN MORE SPECIALS! Sometimes it happens: Something gets dented or scratched during shipment. Or we have some product samples. Or we just decided to stop carrying something. In any event, we've got it and we don't want it. So you save BIG-TIME!
